The ZEITWERK has captivated the world of fine mechanical watchmaking since its introduction with its patented digital jumping display. This second-generation example is powered by the refined manufacture caliber L043.6, featuring a patented dual-barrel design delivering an extended 72-hour power reserve.
The movement incorporates a patented constant-force escapement that regulates energy delivery and precisely controls the instantaneous switching of the jumping hour and minute discs. The mechanism advances the three numeral discs in a fraction of a second, with all three switching simultaneously at the top of each hour. A pusher at 4 o’clock allows the hour disc to be set independently.
Crafted in 18k pink gold, this ZEITWERK features a black dial contrasted by the signature German-silver time bridge. The open sapphire caseback reveals the architectural movement finishing and mechanical complexity for which A. Lange & Söhne is known.
