The GRØNE MANUEEL ONE 'Sjef's One' is the debut timepiece from the Grönefeld brothers' new brand, Grone, launched on November 5th, 2024, in honor of their father, Sjef Grönefeld. This limited edition watch is capped at 388 pieces and will not be repeated.
Its beautifully crafted 38.5mm stainless steel case takes inspiration from the Grönefeld 1941 case design, offering a sleek profile with polished chamfers and a restrained height of 9mm. The signature tremblage salmon dial, surrounded by a brushed rhodium-plated outer dial with diamond-cut edges, provides outstanding depth and dimensionality. Hand-applied, highly polished batons float above the textured center, while the blue sword-style hands and printed details in matching blue add striking contrast.
The watch is powered by a decorated Swiss-made manual winding caliber SW210, torque-adjusted to the brothers' preferred winding feel. It features a hacking seconds mechanism, runs at 28,800 vibrations per hour, and has a 42-hour power reserve. Completing the package is a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating and a calf leather strap with a 16mm buckle width.
The Grönefeld family’s rich horological heritage is deeply embedded in this piece, celebrating the legacy of their father and grandfather, who shaped the workshop in Oldenzaal, Netherlands, where the brothers' passion was born.
