About the Rolex Submariner No-Date – Ref. 14060M (Swiss Made Dial, 2-Liner):
The Rolex Submariner reference 14060M was introduced in 1999 as the successor to the 14060, featuring the updated caliber 3130 movement with laser-welded balance bridge and enhanced reliability. This early 14060M example from circa 2000–2001 features the highly desirable “2-liner” dial with only two lines of text, denoting it as a non-chronometer version. The dial reads “Swiss Made” at 6 o’clock, marking the transitional era of Super-Luminova lume and distinguishing it from earlier tritium dials. Unlike later 4-line 14060Ms, these 2-liners retain the clean symmetry of the Submariner aesthetic and the classic plain rehaut without engraved “ROLEX” branding. Often regarded as the last true vintage-style Submariner, the 14060M 2-liner combines modern durability with vintage charm, making it a favorite among collectors.
