The Rolex Explorer ref. 114270 represents the final iteration of the classic 36mm Explorer before the collection expanded to 39mm with the ref. 214270 in 2010. This model maintains the iconic 3-6-9 dial layout with applied Arabic numerals and luminescent baton markers, all under a sapphire crystal. The watch is powered by the updated Rolex Caliber 3130, which brought improvements over its predecessor. Additionally, the Oyster bracelet was enhanced with solid end links, providing a more robust feel while preserving the Explorer's understated elegance. Notably, the dial features the "SWISS MADE" signature at 6 o'clock, distinguishing it from earlier models.
