About the Rolex GMT-Master "Pepsi" – Ref. 16750 (Stainless Steel / Black Dial / 40mm):
The Rolex GMT-Master ref. 16750 represents an important transitional reference in the GMT-Master lineage. Produced from approximately 1981 to 1988, it bridged the gap between the vintage ref. 1675 and the more modern GMT-Master models that followed. While retaining the classic acrylic crystal and aluminum Pepsi bezel, the 16750 introduced the higher-beat Rolex Caliber 3075 movement with a Quickset date function.
This example features an original Pepsi bezel insert that has naturally faded over time, giving the watch the character and individuality that vintage Rolex collectors appreciate. Combined with its tritium dial, acrylic crystal, and classic Oyster bracelet, the ref. 16750 remains one of the most desirable vintage GMT-Master references, offering the charm of earlier models with the practicality of a more modern movement.
